Top modern and well maintained live aboard steel motor cruiser. This Stevens 1180 was specially built and equipped for long term live aboard cruising and is in fantastic condition. She has the benefit of her twin engines with enclosed keels which make her very suitable for both coastal and inland cruising and proved herself even on open sea. She is 100% ready to cruise and live aboard.
This Stevens 1180 is manufactured in The Netherlands by Smelne Yachts with a history of Yacht Construction dating back to 1968. Smelne is well known for its uncompromised build quality and have long traditions of amazing build quality and designs.

Having been lovingly cared for by her past and current owners this model also benefits from regular but light use, low hours, perfectly cared for and maintained.
Midnight Blue have had three owners. First owners had her mainly in the canals in UK, for cruising up and down the River Thames and part time live aboard. Third and current owner used her for both river cruising but also coastal cruising in UK, before heading south across the English Channel and further down on the stunning canals in France, to the Mediterranean. They then continued down east coast Spain to Algarve in Portugal, ending up in Portimao. Here they have even enjoyed the cruises along the coast to Spain and Gibraltar and back. Midnight Blue has proven herself and her ability to handle both coastal waters and canals and not least extremely comfortable live-abord.

The current owners have fulfilled their motor yacht cruising dreams and are now ready to let Midnight Blue go to new owners, even though they will miss her as a part time live aboard in the sunny Portimao.

This is a Crusing Yacht that must been seen. She is currently in the water in Marina de Portimao, on the Algarve Coast in Portimao, Portugal. She was hauled out in January 2024 for yearly maintenance, change of anodes, inspection and repaint of antifoul and minor maintenance/repairs. Full Engine service was done in 2023 and engines only run about 20 hours since last service.
