Detailed Specs

Beneteau 321 – 1996 , EU VAT Paid status

Well maintained, updated with newer and larger 30hp engine with only 360 hours, new standing rigg in 2016, six port lights changed in recent years and more.

This version is the one with 2 cabins, one being the huge aft cabin with large double bed and interior sprung mattresses, in addition to the nice forward cabin. With this boat you get a good quality boat in the size just under 10 meter long – and thereby the very affordable size in marinas, but still a boat that feels so much bigger when staying onboard. Another big advantage is the low draft of only 1,30 meters, makes most bays, anchorages and rivers accessible, where many others cannot go.

Well maintained by current owners with underwater treatment and antifoul every year, last time being in September 2024 and is planned to go on the hard again on wharf Sopromar in Lagos in June. The engine/gearbox is well maintained and always serviced to Volvo recommended standards. There have been 3 owners, and boat never used for charter.

The Oceanis 321 is a fast, comfortable cruising yacht with good looks, ideal for a couple or family who want to extend their cruising possibilities. The Beneteau Oceanis 321 has been proven the perfect and optimal size for both longer trips and for day/vacation use. Good accommodation with four fixed berths. She has a large cockpit for safe sailing and harboring activities plus a large teak folding cockpit table for up to six place settings. Cherry wood interior, salon with U-shaped settee on starboard side and straight settee on port side, front cabin with double V-berth and a huge aft cabin with large double bed. Very nice galley with double sink, gas stove with an oven and top feeded refrigerator with freezer compartment for ice cubes etc. Galley has plenty of storage for kitchenware, food etc. Head on starboard side with shower and manual Jabsco toilet. Besides several heating elements installed in the boat, she also comes with two cooling fans in the saloon and two in the aft/owners cabin.

Manufacturer Provided Description
When it comes to cruising, the Oceanis range is robust and reliable. They sail on all the seas of the world, whatever the state of the sea and the wind. The technology used for their construction has been well tried and tested: the inner moulding, a real framework for the hull, is strengthened in areas of stress and gives maximum rigidity. As with all the Oceanis, the Oceanis 321 benefits from the results of research carried out by Beneteau’s Research and Development department: between the gelcoat and the laminate, the Beneteau Water Shield (a Beneteau patent) is a real shield against the porosity of the gelcoat and thus protects the hull. Her hull is fast and efficient on all points of sail, with a long waterline and a plumb bow, that cuts through the waves and the chop with ease. Her bulb keel with wings and her rudder protected by a skeg give her helm a nice feel, a moderate heel and excellent stability, while maintaining a shallow draft. The Oceanis 321 is also generous on deck, with a large ”T” shaped cockpit; numerous portholes and hatches for ventilation; the simplicity of the handling lines (brought back to the cockpit on jammers), and quality winches and equipment, including rigid vang, furling genoa kept clear of the anchor, standard wheel steering, and opening transom with swim platform in skirt. A classic mast version is available. Numerous portholes provide plenty of ventilation in the salon and cabins. The interior volume of this 32.5-foot sailboat is truly astonishing: from the ”L” shaped gally to port, to the saloon settee to starboard, from the forward cabin to the aft cabins, the space has been perfectly distributed for maximum pleasure and comfort. The warm atmosphere of the Oceanis 321 is enhanced by the richness of finely crafted varnished cherry woodwork.

The boat was originally purchased by first owners in UK, launched her in 1997 and mostly sailed in that area for the first many years. In 2006 the current owner bought the boat, sailed in the UK waters, and later had the boat brought to Algarve in Portugal by professional skipper, where they have sailed and lived onboard for when staying in Lagos as their second home. She is now in Marina de Lagos but planned to haul out on Sopromar yard in Lagos in mid-May/June.

The current owner now feel, that before age and health become an issue, they wish to spend time on other activities and lifestyle and therefore let TIPPLER move on to new owners.

The boat is today registered in Ireland and EU VAT paid status.
