At Looma4Yachts we sell all types of boats but with an extra focus on sailing boats for blue water cruising and long distance sailing. We also offer a variety of services and are here to help and to guide you towards your new yacht! As a professional broker we will listen closely to your wants and needs and will help you determine if the boat you are calling on is the right boat for you at the best value. We can also assist you in the search for a boat and the type of boat that you are looking for and guide you to boats that matches your demands. Our business with transport sailing yachts is based on our network with captains and also my own experience with more than 40000 Nautical Miles in experience.
My name is Mads Poulsen and I am the owner of Looma4Yachts. I am danish but have lived in Sweden for more than 20 years. I also lived a couple of years in Germany and for the past 7 years I have my home in Lagos, Portugal. I have lived by the sea all my life and spent a lot of time on the water in various types of boats.

In 2016 my wife and I left Sweden and moved to Portugal. At the same time we sailed our boat from Stockholm in Sweden to Lagos in Portugal. We then continued to sail full time for almost 5 years, a journey that started with a summer in the Mediterranean, then we sailed across the Atlantic ocean and sailed the Caribbean from north to south and the whole US east coast. In 2020 COVID hit the world and sailing became a struggle and we were lucky to get the boat sold in the US and came back home to Portugal.
After our years of full time sailing we have a wide network in the sailing community all around the world and close to 40 000 nautical miles of sailing experience in our own boat and numerous transport sailings. When living and sailing on a boat full time for 5 years, you learn by doing about the vital parts of a boat and how they work. This is why my own practical experience and knowledge of cruising is a great use to my successful work as a yachtbroker as I really understand the true essence of blue water cruising and what that means. I know what is needed for this type of boats and I have a true understanding of what my clients are looking for.
